Naomi, Rihanna support Jourdan Dunn’s charity launch

Fashion, music and high-wattage islandista-ness all came together on Sunday night at the No.8 in New York City for the launch of supermodel Jourdan Dunn’s #CellForGratitude charity initiative.

Jourdan thanked her model and music friends for their support, commenting: "The ladies came out in full tonight! Thank you beauties for supporting me and @cellforgratitude."

Barbadian superstar Rihanna and Jamaican-Brit supermodel both came out to support the launch of Jourdan’s charity which supports the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America.

Jourdan is an ambassador for the association and is deeply connected to the cause for obvious reasons – her adorable 4 year old son Riley is a sickle-cell sufferer.

Naomi Campbell also shared a snap from the party.

In keeping with her fashionable focus, Jourdan has designed a necklace from which all proceeds of sales will go towards helping the SCDAA.

Jourdan used her Instagram account to plug the cause as well as post pics on Sunday night, urging followers to look out for the necklace at retailers soon and adding:

“This is just the start of my journey with SCDAA and generating change and awareness. Together we can make a difference.”
